Siri and Shortcuts

Dustly works with Siri, Spotlight and the Shortcuts app on iPhone, iPad and Mac. There is nothing to set up.

Ask Siri

Say the task's name as it appears in Dustly:

  • "Mark Water the fern as done in Dustly"
  • "I did Water the fern in Dustly"
  • "What's due in Dustly?"
  • "What do I need to do in Dustly?"
  • "Open Water the fern in Dustly"
  • "Add a task in Dustly"

If you say "Mark a task as done in Dustly", Siri asks which one.

Shortcuts and Spotlight

In the Shortcuts app, Dustly offers four actions: "Mark as Done", "What's Due", "Open Task" and "Add Task". Use them in your own shortcuts and automations, for example to hear what's due when you get home.

The same actions show when you search for Dustly in Spotlight.

Adding, editing and deleting tasks happens in the app, so the form can check everything for you. "Add Task" opens the Add task form.
