Adding and editing tasks

A task needs only a name and how often it repeats. Everything else has a sensible default and stays out of the way until you open "More options".

Add a task

  1. Tap "Add task".
  2. Type a name, like "Descale the kettle". Tap the smiley to pick an emoji if you like.
  3. Set "Repeat every" with − and +, or tap the number and type it (1 to 999 days).
  4. Leave "Remind me when due" on to get a reminder on the due day.
  5. Tap "Save".

More options

Tap "More options" to see the rest:

  1. "Last done": when you last did the task, if it wasn't today. The count starts from that day.
  2. "Custom timing for this task": when this task changes color. See Colors and timing.
  3. "Time": what time of day the reminder comes.
  4. "Remind daily until done": a reminder every day until you mark the task done.

Edit or delete a task

Tap a task to open it, then tap "Edit". Change anything and tap "Save". If you change how often a task repeats, the time left is worked out again from the last time you did it.

To delete a task, tap "Delete task" at the bottom of its details or of the Edit form. Dustly asks before it deletes anything.
